Here are some common questions we get asked, click on the question to see the answer.

  • What is an Experience?

    An experience is our version of a bus tour with elevated hotels, fresh itineraries, delicious meals, and amazing tour directors.

  • What is an Excursion?

    An “excursion” is your opportunity to make this trip unique for you and your loved one(s). These may include museums, day trips, and other activities to let you take control of your group experience. 

  • Does Excite always use motor coach transportation when traveling?

    We use a variety of different modes of transportation when traveling.  If the destination is close enough or merits a coach, we will take one.  Some destinations would benefit the time saved by flying. In that case we would fly to our destination and then utilize a motor coach while on the experience.

  • What types of hotels does Excite utilize?

    Excite uses top of the line properties such as Marriott in all of its destinations.  Comfort, cleanliness, and safety are priorities when staying with Excite in the properties we book.

  • How do I pay for my tour?

    There are two types of payment options available for your convenience.  You can print one of our brochures online (or request one from our office 402-293-9282) and mail it in with your deposit.  Or, you may reserve your seat online with your credit card through our secure checkout service. The remaining balance one month before your scheduled experience.

  • Is my final payment refundable/ What is your cancelation policy?

    For multi day tours, if you cancel you may do so within 31 days of the experience and receive a full refund, unless otherwise noted on brochure. (Flights will receive airline credit from the airline of purchase. Excursions are on a case by case basis). Cancellations after 30 days will be refunded as tour credit. One day tours -  the deposits and payments are refundable up to 72 hours prior to departure.

  • Are tips for step on guide expected and or appropriate?

    We often hire step-on guides to enhance your tour. Their fee and a gratuity is included in your tour fare. If you feel a step on guide enhanced your tour experience, you are welcome to personally offer a gratuity, as well.

  • Can we bring food or drinks on the bus?

    Yes, snacks and beverages are welcome on the bus. We also provide bottled water and goodies for everyone.

  • Do you offer travel insurance?

    Yes, we recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.

  • Is my deposit refundable

    Deposits on multi day tours are refundable up to 31 days before departure. Deposits 31 - 0 days before departure will receive a tour credit. One day tours the deposits and payments are refundable up to 72 hours prior to departure.

  • What are the motor coaches like?

    Our motor coaches are top of the line machines.   All with tinted windows and reclining seats, this is not your generic bus. Also included is free wireless internet onboard.

  • Is there someone who goes along with the experience?

    Yes. One of our Experience Guide will be along to take care of all the arrangements on your journey as well as point you in the right direction of attractions in the area.

  • Where do we park our car?

    There will be a secured parking lot at the departure location of the coach. If departing from an airport, parking is on your own at the airport. You may want to have a friend or family member drop you off.

  • What size luggage can I bring?

    Guests are allowed one large suitcase to put underneath the bus, as well as a backpack size bag for on the bus and a personal item. If you need additional accommodations, please call our office.

  • Are tips for the guide and driver included in the tour price?

     Gratuities for your Tour Director and motorcoach driver are not included in your tour fare and are welcomed at your discretion. Typical gratuities for excellent service are $3-$5 per person, per day for your Tour Director and driver, each.

  • Is there a restroom on the bus?

    Yes there is a restroom for your convenience on the bus. We also stop about every two hours to take a break and use the restroom. 


How it works

Reserve your seat

Call and request a brochure or print one from our website. Mail it to us and include a check for your deposit. You can also reserve online by paying with your credit card.


Receive paper confirmation

You will receive a paper confirmation in the mail about a week after your reservation is received.




Receive experience information packet

About 4 weeks before the tour is scheduled to depart, you will receive your experience information packet, which includes pick up and return times, hotel information, etc. 

Final payment

Final payment is due once you receive your invoice with your experience information.
