Enjoy a new destination every week!
Mackinac Island
Established in the 17th century this island really became a popular Summer colony in the 19th century! The island is located in Lake Huron in the Straits of Mackinac, in the upper peninsula of Michigan.  Because of its historic significance, the entire island is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
What’s really unique about this island is that there are no automobiles.  Everything is moved (including people) on horse drawn carriages and bikes or karts!
Most notably is the Grand Hotel, situated on the islands Southwest shoreline, this magnificent hotel can be stayed in or visited for the day!  Experience a moment in time with opulent decor, spectacular service, and an amazing upscale buffet lunch.  Plus, the views from the veranda will take your breath away!
Cindy and I are thrilled to be able to connect with you, even if it’s from a distance.  If you know of someone that could use this travel cheer, would you share our website where they can sign up to connect with us as well?  We appreciate everyone’s support and love.
